Estimator/Project Manager Job Summary The Project Manager will exercise direct supervision over the project from start to finish, providing direction, leadership and guidance to project supports, foreman and subcontractors, assisting them in the planning, coordination and execution of their work in order to complete the project in a timely and economical manner with high standards of workmanship. Reports to the Director of New Construction.

Essential Functions

  • Prepare and assemble bid proposals, including completing detailed estimates by calculating complete takeoff of scope of work and soliciting pricing from vendors and subcontractors
  • Manage subcontractors, schedules and quality of work
  • Communicate effectively with all involved in project
  • Coordinate efforts of all parties involved including owner, architect, consultant, contractor/sub-contractor, and laborers
  • Monitor progress of activities on a regular basis
  • Ensure project documents are complete
  • Advise billing Admin of progress billing dates and change orders to ensure timely customer invoicing
  • Ability to multi-task and accurately perform a variety of complicated tasks in a fast paced environment

Estimating: 1 year

The project accountant is responsible for the overall accounting functions and support of our new construction department. This position reports to the Controller.

Essential Functions

  • Executing Contracts-AIA Billings – Lien Waivers – Certified Payrolls – Monthly Forms
  • Preparing and maintaining weekly bid reports
  • Daily Correspondence with Contractors/Customers
  • Creating and maintaining project profiles
  • CO & PO Follow ups and issue processing
  • Monthly job audits
  • Assist project managers with day to day tasks
  • AP Entry
  • Daily office responsibilities

Key Skills

  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Must be proficient in QuickBooks, MS Suite
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Must be motivated, eager to learn and contribute to a team.
  • Maintain high level of confidentiality and discretion.
  • College Degree preferred

The CAD Tech is an entry level position, responsible for being the support to the Senior Estimators and Project Managers for the new construction department. This position reports to the Director of New Construction.

  • College Degree preferred
